so this past weekend, we went to the Day with Thomas event at Roaring Camp Railroads. nikka loves Thomas & Friends and we thought she might really enjoy it, so we went. she had a blast the whole day with her cousin. we went on a beautiful but short train ride, they played in the jumpy houses, played with lego trains, got tattoos, face painting and more. they even had a little “theater” where the kids could watch Thomas videos. And this is where it happened.

nikka and her cousin were watching videos and all of a sudden, the cutest little guy came in pimpin’ his conductor hat and sat next to my little girl. they started talking to each other in little people conversation and before you know it, they were sharing glimpses of each others tattoos. the little boy even put his arm around her. we all stood in the back of the room in hysterics, just thinking of how cute they both were sharing this moment. before we know it, she’ll be a teenager enjoying a similar moment. how scary.
