This weekend we got a chance to spend some time with the 5Dillards (minus one) and we decided to go to 6 Flags. First we decided to eat lunch which was HECKA expensive! Hello, I never thought I would pay over $10 for some Panda Express! We sat down only to be caught in a swarm of gnats!!! I never saw so many gnats in my life! I ate a few of them and inhaled plenty more. It was not yucky. We then decided to keep moving and ended up in the kiddie section of the park.
Niknak, now over 36 inches tall (yay!), got a chance to finally ride some exciting rides. We spent most of our time watching the kids enjoy themselves. A funny moment was this one boat ride that Niknak and two of her cousins (C-lena and E-jah) got on. We thought it wouldn’t be so scary, as all three of the kids got on all excited. As soon as the boat started swinging and gained momentum, E-jah started freaking out and calling for his mommy. He didn’t seem to like the feeling he got in his stomach. We laughed a little, because it was so darn cute.
We took in a few more rides, the kids played in the water a bit, and we saw a couple of shows and animals. A great time was had by all, but OMG it was soooo HOT! By the end of the day, I had myself a heatstroke- AGAIN! I swear i’m drinking enough water, but maybe not. We look forward to going again, but maybe in winter time only!
